Amazon plans to open physical stores

Amazon, the world leader in online sales, considering the establishment of physical shops, on the model of Apple appple blinds. A way of testing, the company should open in the coming months, the first store in Seattle ( Northwest U.S.) , where it has its headquarters. This shop is mainly devoted to technological objects, including the reading lights Kindle Company.

At the end of 2011, at a conference, several Amazon partners had left to hear that the company might open spaces for testing its products for consumers. The company declined to confirm or deny these rumors.

EReaders Amazon are already on sale in some department store chains, including Target and Best Buy in the U.S.. But if the company launched new products, it could take full advantage of physical retail spaces.

If Amazon currently has no physical store, certain of its subsidiaries have already tested this formula. Quidsi, an online retailer bought by Amazon in 2010, opened in New York a “Beauty Bar” to promote its beauty products.
