Google Would Address the Quick Delivery at Low Prices

Google is in talks with major distribution groups to create a service that would allow consumers to buy goods online and to receive 24-hour maximum for a small fee, said Thursday on Wall Street Journal . This project, if realized, would compete with the online store Amazon.com and in particular offers fast delivery Amazon Prime, who for 79 dollars a year in the United States, can receive all items ordered on the site in a day or two, said the financial daily said, citing sources familiar with the matter.

“The success of Amazon Prime encouraged some consumers to seek products directly to Amazon rather than Google and a threat to more traditional retailers which offers and delivery times are much less efficient ” , the newspaper said.

Spokespeople for Google were not immediately available for comment on this information. Many retailers have expressed interest in the project of Google, according to the Wall Street Journal , citing department stores Macy’s, Gap clothing chain and the OfficeMax office supply.
