Maybe, the cell phone signal problem about iPhone 4 has become one of the hot topics after dinner, we have seen a lot from the surface of things, and the appraisal is inconsistent. But so far, no reliable data can prove if iPhone 4 has a signal problem, even if one or two iPhone 4 has signal problem, we can not prove that all the iPhone 4 have problem in the signal. Recently, the well-known market research firm Consumer Reports has had a strong interest in the signal problem of iPhone 4 too, selecting samples from iPhone 4, and comparing them with several other cell phones of AT & T’s in signal strength, under the same condition, network, position, the result is the same as rumors that recently spread: only the signal of iPhone 4 is attenuated.
Through the test, Consumer Reports said, “the statement of Apple that the formula used to caculate iPhone 4 signal strengths is wrong is not reliable; the error of formula used to calculate signal strength is not the main reason for signal attenuation in the testing process.” In the testing process, Consumer Reports found a transparent plastic in the left side bottom seam of the fuselage which can improve the signal attenuation. The problem has happened which the chief designer Jony Ive of iPad worried about, even if the iPhone 4 adopt the Retina technology on the screen, the resolution upgrade the 960 × 640, despite adding a new back-illuminated CMOS camera, after all, we spend money on no small matter, we buy things to make life more convenience, not to find trouble, many users back out of buying iPhone 4 because of the signal problem of iPhone 4-Wholesale cell phones.
A net friend from the Unofficial Apple Weblog had released a software designed for iOS 4 to enhance the signal, obviously, it is certainly not a software authorized by Apple, but using it to the test, when hold the bottom seam of every iPhone 4, viewing the signal from the screen displayed, the phenomenon of signal attenuation will occur, some of the iPhone 4 will appear the phenomenon that the call quality is down or data transfer rate reduce, and the decay phenomenon is rapid and significant, but the cell phones run in other AT & T network does not appear the similar conditions.
In the test, iPhone 4 is placed in different signal environment, in San Francisco, Chicago, New York, although in different regions, the phenomenon of signal attenuation is the same as the test results showed, the signal attenuation problem does exist. Face with the test results from folk, what reaction will Apple make? Are they able to solve and make up the problem of weak signal? We are expecting to see.

does anyone not see that it is VERY SAD that the only thing revolutionized in the last 30 years is a god damn phone?
that is all we have accomplished, nothing more or less.
We really need to use our brains to create cars that run off something other than gas, and electricity, stop drinking bottle water, and to cure cancer, and other diseases.

The iphone4 for is simply a catch up from the other older iphones,..adding flash, a better but still not good enough camera. The facetime is awsome but really dumb since it only uses wifi and can only do iphone to iphone calling…all and all I will wait until a REAL new iphone 4 comes out with a true 4g network, and when they figure out the bugs with this one..give em a year max and a new iphone will be out!
