Microsoft Disclaims Virtual Hard Disk on the Apple Platform
The program, which can store 25 gigabytes of documents “in the cloud” , is available on devices featuring Microsoft‘s operating system, Windows Phone , but also Apple‘s IOS. With these applications, the U.S. group wants to take position in the industry, more and more competitive, the “cloud computing” . Major new technology companies, like Google, Amazon and Apple, among others, already declined their services on computers or on mobile platforms. Young shoots, as Dropbox, founded in 2008, offer similar functionality.
The mobile version of Microsoft Skydrive also allows to invest again in the field of Apple, although some services such as Hotmail, have dedicated their implementation on IOS. Last week, Microsoft also announced the launch on iPhone and iPad, a variation of its online gaming service, the X- Box Live.
